The Lord God does speak to us if we would just be still our souls and listen (shut up already yet - in other words. )

The man whispered, "God, speak to me" And a meadowlark sang. But the man did not hear.

So the man yelled "God, speak to me" And the thunder & lightning rolled across the sky. But the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you." And a star shined brightly. But the man did not see.

And, the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle" And a life was born. But the man did not notice.

So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me, God, and let me know you are here" Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man.But the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

I found this to be a great reminder that God is always around us in the little and simple things that we take for granted. Even in our electronic age. He has never left us. He created the heavens and the earth. He created mankind and died for us and is here still - MT 28:20 "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

All the darkness in the world can not put out the light of a single candle. Goodness will allways prevail. Life will always prevail, somewhere at any given time in the world a baby or a kitten is born. even in the the darkest gloom of night somewhere in the world the sun is shining In a few hours the sun will come up and also shine in your part of the world .

Sometimes it seems as if the bad forces in this world like to pick on the good, humble, hard working folks who are just trying to make a living, take care of their families and get by. Maybe its true I don't know. This I do know for the Bible tells me so, it is written: PS 68:17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

So you can see GOD is indeed a "Big big GOD"! And he truly does have the "whole world" in his hands. As well as angels to help. Tough angels too, that can handle war chariots, and roll huge rocks like they did away from the tomb of Jesus Christ. There were even jail breaker angels who helped the apostle Peter escape when he was captured. Tough powerful forces not little "fairies" or "pixies." All these are aligned to help God's people, once we accept his Saving Grace, we even have his indwelling spirit to help and guide us.

PS 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation. Selah.

PS 68:20 God is to us a God of deliverance. To Yahweh, the Lord, belongs escape from death.

The Lord looks out for his people, as for what happens to his enemies you can pick up your Bible and Check out the next couple verses yourself. PS 68:21- 68:23 -( or use this link for the Web online Bibles W.E.B. Bible: http://www.ebible.org )

It is kind of intense but remember that is for the Lord's enemies. As for us we have after all been promised eternal life in peace and joy and that should be worth at least a few hard knocks along the road of life.

Keep praying, keep praising keep the faith. God is not just sitting up there on a cloud somewhere he is around us and in us, ALMIGHTY, sovereign and powerful. He might not answer our prayers the ways we want them to be answered. You may not find a Mercedes-Benz outside your door. But if you need them the Lord may send you a chariot - complete with angel chauffeurs.

I would like to thank Tim Lockhard for his help on this page.
