THE TROUBLE AND THE SOLUTION:

Are you having lots and lots of problems in your life, well look who is around stirring up trouble... JOB 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Yes its that old trouble maker we call by many names: the Devil mostly or Satan. The word Satan means accuser in Hebrew - thats right he is a tattle-tale, a snitch. The Apostle Paul calls Satan a "thorn in the flesh," (2COR 12:7) a pain in the back. Satan was once an angel - " I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." (LK 10:18) Jesus said, but no more. One might wonder why the Lord did not destroy Satan and his fellow fallen angels, who became demons. That is part of God's perfect plan for redemption and justification of all mankind. Humanity also sinned; God did not destroy us, instead he showed mercy. PS 86:13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. The ultimate mercy was shown on a hill at Calvary where Jesus the Son of God, (I. E. God incarnate on this earth,) was crucified and died for our sins. Our sins died with him. Three days later he rose from the dead. If you are confused about how it all works don't worry, you are not God, he knows how it all works you don't have to, (just believe have faith and be saved.)

DEVIL

EVIL:

The snitching accuser Devil, is a trouble maker. He was jealous of God. He is the accuser who caused trouble for Job. He has caused trouble for mankind from the beginning. In the guise of a serpent he told the first woman Eve to disobey the Lord, "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die," (GEN 3:4) not only did he cause us trouble but he gave the poor snakes a bad reputation. The Devil also said that the woman would not die if she ate the forbidden fruit, of course she died. I say of course, because by nature Satan is a liar. The Lord Jesus said "He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (JOHN 8:44) He is also a murderer as you can see, we would have lived forever in paradise on earth if the accuser had not caused trouble. He has snitched, lied and caused trouble and kept at it for thousands of years.

GOD

GOOD:

After all Job went through the Lord God rewarded his faith and gave him even more than he had before. God did not kill Adam and Eve after they sinned but let them live, clothed them and gave them a means to survive by working. God delivers our souls from the "lowest hell." God in Jesus died for us, taking on OUR sins. Three days after his death Jesus rose from the dead. He defeated death itself. We may all defeat death because of him, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." (1 COR 15:22) We no longer need to worry about the snitch. Our sins are forgiven. The power of the Lord is greater than the powers of darkness. However as the Apostle Peter says we must always; "be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." (1 PET 5:8) We are also told not to give him a foothold - "Neither give place to the devil." (EPH 4:27) James say's, "submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (JAMES 4:7) The old accuser has to flee because the Lord God is more powerful.

To sum it up: God is faithful to those who are faithful to him and forgiving and loving to all. God loves us, he died for us and brought us life through himself. Satan is a murdering trouble making liar who just accused and caused misery. The Devil will get his all in good time; "and the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. (ROM 16:20) Looks like he will get stomped on in other words. After that happens we are told, "and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (REV 20:10) Until that time we must be faithful and vigilant always knowing that Jesus is Victor over all death and evil and we can share in that victory. Jesus is the solution and our SALVATION.
