I began this website as a vow to GOD, I wanted to thank him for helping me through the dark days I have gone through; ( and no doubt will still go through, as we all do on this earth that is no longer Eden. ) I used a website I already had - the symbol of the fish being a fitting one I thought. I had a dream one night and came up with "CAPRICE" ministries. When I looked later I thought caprice - means a foolish whim or fancy and thus seemed a foolish name indeed for name for a ministry, and thats certainly what it seemed to be. For although I once was ordained ( on a whim ) by the Universal Church of Life. I have not gone through a seminary or formal training! I just wondered if maybe I was'nt over my head in this endeavor. I prayed to the LORD and opened my Bible at random to the book of James 1:5 "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. "
So I will do what God directs me to do in order to fulfill what seems to be the Lord's will.

Jesus ordered his original disciples with the Great Commission: ( MT 28:18 - MT 28:20 ) Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

I don't quite put myself up there with those guys... but if the Lord God Almighty wants me to make an internet site and testify his Love and his redemption on the internet, I Certainly am not going to say no!

After all Jesus did say :MT 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden. MT 5:15 Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. MT 5:16 Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

God wants his word spread and although there are many more dedicated people doing it, if he wants me to do so I am at his command.

Why did the Lord choose me ? I ask myself and once and again the Bible gave me the answer:

1COR 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1COR 1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;

1COR 1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;

1COR 1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:

1COR 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

1COR 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

1COR 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

Well you can't get too much more weak than I was when I started this! Now I am "Boasting in the LORD!"

It took a hard knock in the head to get me motivated others maybe a kick in the seat of the pants.

Whatever it takes get going if you have never made a personal commitment to Jesus do so. Read the Bible, Love your neighbor, help the poor, encourage those who are in need of a little good news, ( which is after all what the Gospel means. ) Send a card or E-mail, make a phone call maybe to someone you know who is feeling down, and by all means pray for them it does work I know
